You join me at the half way stage of my training blog, my run time had dropped from 37min for doing 3miles to 31:30 over a period of 3 months.
After the storms
8 days with no running, so the storms passed and the weather cleared, got suited up and went for a 3mile run. ok after a time of 33:43sec (yep not my best) but boggy fields did not help. OMG the next morning D.O.M.S, my legs hurt. So it was sit-ups and crunches followed by press ups later in the day. with a run tomorrow.
Sunday Run
So your Sunday has rock around and you may think ahh day off. Wrong this is the perfect time to do your endurance run. so you plus 2 miles to your standard run. i dont run at a fast pace just about 70-85% or just as i’m on the boarder of uncomfortable and try to keep that pace for the length of the run.Paragraph
this was my first 5mile run since i started this venture, and in some strange and sadistic way i’m starting to enjoy the experience. but to be honest my gluts(big butt muscles)will hurt tomorrow but Tuesday i will attack the run again.
